Monday night could have send me to hell straight and burn me clean. Hurt and torn apart, I was on the verge of giving up on my critique. It was almost a firm decision, one that is to be sealed and never be opened up again. I am really thankful for my friends, given the encouragement and support that they have pumped me up with. I did not manage to complete my preparation for my speech and was pretty glad that my effort of ditching the last attempt to inject more words in it, spurred on a positive effect of calmness. I developed a whole new persona at the very last minute, boosting all sorts of euphoria I could find in me. I knew that sugar rush from Kinder will worked. What more can my wheel of joy spins with my work being selected for exhibition. That was a complete shocker. A pinching moment that it dawned upon me that efforts will pay off for not giving up. Simply relieved. Just relieved.
